Testing your Fundamental Movement Skills

You can now test your fundamental movement skills at home. It is recommended that you do it with a friend or family member so that you can observe each other and give feedback, but the reality is that the testing is critical to understanding more about yourself. So do it alone rather than wait.

When you were between the ages of 1 and 7 years of age you were developing your fundamental movement skills and at the same time you were developing your literacy and numeracy skills. Neurons that are fired together are wired together so if your fundamental movement skills are intact their partner neurons are probably intact as well.

Test your fundamental movements skills at least once a year. I have included information to guide you through the process. Have fun.

If you are missing a skill do some activities to get it back, I have made some suggestions on things you can do using things found at home.
